My friend Josh hosts a show on Western Addition Radio (check it out here http://www.westaddradio.com) called Slave to the Rhythm. Josh is a fabulous super smart DJ. Each episode features different themes and guests. I was lucky enough to be there for the Wednesday November 28 broadcast. Our theme was DETROIT. Why? well for one, it's my hometown. Another reason is cause I throw a monthly party called MOTOR CITY MADNESS. It happens on the first Wednesday of each month at a little bar called TRUCK here in San Francisco. It's an homage to DETROIT. Artist and Labels from the big D. Songs from and about and all things DETROIT. From Motown to White Stripes and everything in between.
