Here's something new... a radio show. My friend Josh hosts a show on Western Addition Radio (check it out here http://www.westaddradio.com) called Slave to the Rhythm. Josh is a fabulous super smart DJ. Each episode features different themes and guests. I was lucky enough to be there for the Wednesday November 28 broadcast. Our theme was DETROIT. Why? well for one, it's my hometown. Another reason is cause I throw a monthly party called MOTOR CITY MADNESS. It happens on the first Wednesday of each month at a little bar called TRUCK here in San Francisco. It's an homage to DETROIT. Artist and Labels from the big D. Songs from and about and all things DETROIT. From Motown to White Stripes and everything in between. So come on by and grab a FAYGO COCKTAIL and say hello. Until then, here is a taste of what you will hear. It's only a small portion. The two hours flew by and we didn't have time to play half of what we brought.

This mix started with me trying to use this Los Microwaves song somehow, somewhere. As I searched for more songs to include, I noticed that I had quite a few tracks right here on my laptop that fell into a little theme. In fact, I even had to leave a few out. This mix doesn't include as much Traktor trickery but I think it's a nice little eclectic collection. Hope you enjoy it and as always, let me know what you think.
